Lon was born on March 7, 1959 and passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012.
Lon was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida at the time of his passing.
He was a 1977 graduate of Southside High, Fort Smith, and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1982 with a B.S. in Engineering. He worked for Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas until he was injured in a car accident in August of 1982.
Mr. Taft was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida for seven years. He was Church of Christ by faith.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 24 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Burial will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
