The streaming video service is about to get access to shows like Parks and Recreation
NBC may no longer be the best network on TV, but they've still got a stable of great shows. And now, effective today, you can enjoy those programs on the?Amazon Prime service using your computer, tablet, PlayStation 3, or Xbox 360.
A new deal between Amazon and the television broadcaster makes available shows such as "Parks and Recreation," "Parenthood," "Friday Night Lights," "Heroes," and "Battlestar Galactica." The shows will join a growing stable of 22,000 titles that include educational content from TLC, Discovery, and Science, and Warner Brothers shows like "Fringe" and "The West Wing."
Amazon Prime memberships are $79 per year, and allow you access to the Amazon streaming library. You also get free two-day shipping on all eligible purchases.?If you're not an Amazon Prime member, you can grab a one-month free trial of the service to test it out.
