I had this idea to the management of joint stock companies penny, very often. They believe that as the business grows the price of the stock will follow. It makes no sense. The share price does not rise if investors buy shares. A company can earn half a billion dollars in one quarter, but if investors decide to never buy a single share of stock of the company will be zero value. The flip side is true, if investors decide to buy shares in a company that does not pay the share price will rise. It does not matter to investors that the company does not develop, once they decide to buy the stock it will rise. Look at all the Internet stocks that have unpaid assessments billion. My point is that prices do not move in tandem with the company's performance. If running a business wants to increase their stock in the price they need to promote their business. The only effective way to introduce your company to investors is hiring full-time person or by hiring an IR firm, Investor Relations. I can think of many great penny stocks that are languishing in darkness due to lack of exposure they receive. I remember a large company that traded under 0.20 for months until he received exposure to an emission of 171 national discourse. Once it was presented on the talk show the stock moved above 50. The product and the company had not changed. The only thing that had changed was the exposure that the company received. Make sure the penny stock you will invest in the other person has one or IR is in the process of hiring one. The CEO can not be the contact person for investors if he is busy managing the company. Especially if the company does expect to receive exposure they need someone who can be on the phone all day talking to investors. If the company simply is not involved in its stock price so why bother investing in it.
